The Story Behind Reverie

Reverie began with a desire to create more than a floral artwork. I wanted to create an atmosphere—one that feels uplifting, restorative, and deeply connected to the beauty of the natural world.

Built from original photography, hand-painted artwork, and materials drawn from my personal archive, the piece evolved through layers of texture, color, and botanical forms. Rather than focusing on realism, I was interested in creating an emotional experience: a space where flowers, weathered surfaces, and fragments of history come together like a visual poem.

For me, art has the power to transform the feeling of a room. It can calm, inspire, and gently elevate the spirit. The title Reverie reflects that intention—a quiet invitation to pause, reflect, and become immersed in beauty.
