Digital masks can be used with textures to create dimension in your designs.

Steam Punk inspired design using textures, photo masks and vintage French geometry graphics.

In the previous post, I showed you how masks can be used as overlays. In this variation on that design, I instead used textures.

I used the overlay from the Geometrie 1912 brushes in this variation of my design and it brought to mind a Steam Punk theme. I don't have any Steam Punk images, so I purchased the usage (for demonstration only) of this dashing steam punk model from iStock Photo by artist contributor: fmbackX.
