Hey all,
I'm just starting this road map to various ways to learn about using textures and graphics. I had a lot of video tutorials on the old blog, but that blog has a lot of broken links so I'll be creating new tutorials. I also wanted a place where I can update things more easily than documentation included with downloads.
Thank you for your patience as I get this slowly together for you. Feel free to contact me if you need help. Leslie Nicole.
I've started with a few quick links so I can get out a new overlay collection with updated support, but this page will expand and grow. Watch the newsletter for new tutorials as well as classes.
Place the mask in the layer under the image you want to clip. With the image layer selected, hit Command + Option + G (Mac) or Control + Alt + G (PC) This will clip your image to the mask. Resize the mask or image to fit the way you wish.
To use as an overlay and change the color, place a solid color adjustment layer above the mask. Select the color adjustment layer and clip it to the mask using the same keyboard commands Command + Option + G (Mac) or Control + Alt + G (PC).
I've been a frequent guest for Design Cuts live events and learning. You can find a list of all the recordings here. NOTE: Design Cuts has moved these videos. I’m looking into getting the updated details.
